| Comments: Cape Daisies - Osteospremum hybrids, originate from South Africa. These patented modern hybrids continue to be upgraded for more flowers, a wider range of colors, more heat tolerance and more cold tolerance. Look for Voltage Yellow at Florida Home Depot garden centers. This newest hybrid has the most heat tolerance and flower power of all. You will be able to keep Voltage Yellow as a perennial in central Florida and possibly North Florida in Milder winters. Cape Dasies must have a well drained soil. They tolerate drying out between watering well. Move them into more shade in the summer if you plan to get them through the hot summer months so they can thrive again in the cool season which is when they are there best in Florida.
