| Comments: Porterweed - Stachytarphetta sp., of which there are many types and colors, are one of the best butterfly attractors. They bloom year-round and sprout back quickly from frost and freeze. Height is variable and pruning is the best way to keep the plant in proportion to your setting. They rebloom quickly after pruning during warm months. Some varieties are Florida natives but all are American natives. |
